 Angelehnt an die Stilllebenmalerei zeigt [die Arbeit Schlaraffenland, die eigens für die gleichnamige Ausstellung im Dortmunder Kunstverein entstanden ist], ein überbordendes, überwältigendes Arrangement gescannter Lebensmittel aus den Schlaraffenlanderzählungen. Sie zeigt diese in ihrer heutigen, industriellen Form, die uns auf Schritt und Tritt zum Konsum verführt – sei es in Schaufenstern, auf Reklametafeln oder auf Social Media. –Linda Schröer

Inspired by still life painting, the work [Schlaraffenland, which was created especially for the exhibition of the same name at Dortmunder Kunstverein] shows an exuberant, overwhelming arrangement of scanned food from the tales of the land of milk and honey. It shows them in their modern, industrial form, which seduces us into consumption at every turn - be it in shop windows, on billboards or on social media. –Linda Schröer
