 Angelehnt an die Stilllebenmalerei zeigt die Arbeit Schlaraffenland, die eigens für die gleichnamige Ausstellung im Dortmunder Kunstverein entstanden ist, ein überbordendes, überwältigendes Arrangement gescannter Lebensmittel aus den Schlaraffenlanderzählungen. Sie zeigt diese in ihrer heutigen, industriellen Form, die uns auf Schritt und Tritt zum Konsum verführt – sei es in Schaufenstern, auf Reklametafeln oder auf Social Media.
Die Arbeit wurde nach der Ausstellung in 60 handgenähte Taschen als Jahresgabe für den Dortmunder Kunstverein umgearbeitet. 

Inspired by still life painting, the work Schlaraffenland, which was created especially for the exhibition of the same name at Dortmunder Kunstverein shows an exuberant, overwhelming arrangement of scanned food from the tales of the land of milk and honey. It shows them in their modern, industrial form, which seduces us into consumption at every turn - be it in shop windows, on billboards or on social media.
After the exhibition, the work was reworked into 60 hand-sewn bags as Jahresgaben for the Dortmunder Kunstverein.
